Franco's Family Restaurant of Madison, Indiana is dedicated first and foremost to producing delicious and affordable meals from high-quality ingredients that are as fresh as possible. Each and every day, we use fresh meats, cheeses, vegetables, breads, and herbs for all of our menu items, most of which are prepared when you order and none of which are prepared earlier than that morning. This has been and still is the way that Italians from all walks of life approach cooking.
For meats, cheeses, and breads that require off-site preparation before they come to us, we are proud to have partnered with Boar's Head Provisions and La Brea Bakery. Because of this focus on quality and freshness, Franco's can provide rich flavor without resorting to substances that unnecessarily increase saturated fat, cholesterol, and sodium, which doctors recommend limiting. Instead, when we want to enhance the natural flavors of our ingredients, we turn mostly to regular and extra-virgin olive oil, Soy oil, fresh herbs and spices, and wine.
Furthermore, we offer many whole-wheat and whole-grain options, which are high in healthy fiber as well as delicious. For those who have some kind of gluten allergy, we also carry gluten free pasta and pizza dough! We are also committed to another type of health: the health of our environment. We ensure that all of our take-away containers are recyclable, so please take care to recycle them whenever possible.
Our Restaurant serves a traditional midwestern breakfast, and an authentic Italian lunch and dinner. We also host a wide variety of Boar's Head deli products used to make all of our sandwhiches which can be bought by the pound.
Come down to Franco's and let us give you the best night that Madison has to offer.

About the Family
Franco's Family Restaurant was opened in 2009 by Franco and Mabelle Lubrano, who came to the United States in 1993 from the port city of Genoa in the Liguria region of northern Italy. While raising their two sons, Christian and Alberto, in Miami, Florida, Mabelle established a home-run catering business that for more than 20 years honed her skills as a chef of Italian cuisine. Eventually, Christian attended Hanover College in nearby Hanover and settled here in Madison, and after Alberto also enrolled at the college, Franco and Mabelle followed them to southeastern Indiana. Their fine cooking first came to the attention of area residents by way of Madison's annual Soup, Stew, Chili, and Brew event, at the booth of Fair Play Fire Company No. 1.
Mabelle & Franco Lubrano are currently the two chefs for lunch and Dinner. Would you like to meet them? Whenever the restaurant is open, they are in! Alberto Lubrano currently manages the restaurant while also taking care of all breakfast & desserts. Chris Lubrano & Ellen Taylor-Lubrano help with the accounting and managerial concepts. This is truly a family business; not because it has to be but because we want it to be that way!
We thank the people of Madison and beyond for your enthusiastic welcome and for your insistence that such cuisine was worthy of its own restaurant. Well, here we are, and we hope to see you again and again.
